【13-May-2014】Chiang Mai Trip Day 6 basically marked our last day in Chiang Mai. Our initial plan to Chiang Mai was to take this opportunity to visit Chiang Rai - a city approximately 188km away, northeast of Chiang Mai with its signature "white temple" (Wat Rong Khun). Sadly, right before we departed from Malaysia, Mae Lao earthquake happened (5-May-2014), causing our Chiang Rai day trip to cancel.

【12-May-2014】On the fifth day, we moved from old city of Chiang Mai to a new city - Nimmanhaemin Road or better known as Nimman. With trendy cafe and boutique hotels mushrooming in Nimman, we basically spent our fifth day walking in peaceful alleys of Nimman and eating in lovely cafes.

On Day 3, we visited most of the attractions in Pai including some resorts, Pai Canyon and Memorial Bridge.

Day 2 was the most happening day as we were traveling to Pai but before that, we had our complement breakfast in Imm Hotel. Our plan was to leave our big luggage in Imm Hotel and only carry two-days items to Pai. We would then return to Imm Hotel on Day 4 and continued staying for another night.

One of our major trips in year 2014 is Chiang Mai trip. Our initial plan is to take this opportunity to visit Pai and Chiang Rai as well. This is my first trip to north Thailand with the duration of one week, from 7-May-2014 to 14-May-2014.
